Caritas Cancer Institute comprises several divisions, including Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Palliative Oncology and Community Oncology.
The Centre of Excellence in Emergency Medicine & Trauma Care has a fully equipped team to provide quality care at the earliest, and the attending physicians are qualified to identify the broad spectrum of illnesses, injuries, or conditions that might have caused the situation the patient is going through. The department equips the latest facilities to address all sorts of emergencies around the clock. The moment a case is brought to our attention, the patient becomes our priority and is taken care of with extreme sensitivity.
The 60-plus bedded state-of-the-art Emergency Medicine & Trauma care department is equipped to handle all sorts of emergencies irrespective of age, gender, and severity of illness.
The department has over 15 beds dedicated to severely ill/critical patients (Priority 1 – Red). The facilities within the department include a triage zone, priority zones (Red, Yellow, and Green), a Resuscitation zone, an Isolation zone, an Intensive Care Facility, a Point of Care Facility, counselling rooms, a procedure room, and a Minor OT with a HEPA filter. A 384-slice AI-supported CT scan is in proximity to the department.
The department also extends its service to the general public through its pre-hospital system, viz: – first responder system (Bike ambulance), level B, C & D ambulances, and helipad services.
